We put in place Powers of Attorney appointing suitable attorneys, over age 16, to make decisions for you should such a need ever arise. We will also, on your behalf, arrange to have your Power of Attorney registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (Scotland). This is a statutory requirement before appointed attorneys are allowed to exercise their authority to act for you regarding management of your heritable and moveable assets, and also your welfare. Our role is to ensure you understand the options and are comfortable with the authority you are granting

The aim is to ease the burden at a difficult time while ensuring all legal and tax requirements are met efficiently and correctly.
For added peace of mind, we offer secure electronic storage of important documents via our Executry Box service. Key papers such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, trust deeds, and supporting information can be stored safely in one place and accessed when required by you or your appointed representatives. This helps ensure nothing vital is misplaced and that your Executors can find what they need quickly when the time comes.
